What VEK Adviesgroep B.V. distinguishes from other consulting engineers is that in recent years we have designed a great number of research facilities for renowned global breeders & researchers and supervised their construction in countries in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. This has provided us with a high degree of knowledge and experience in design and construction of DNA research-grade labs under widely differing legal regimes with regard to what is permitted and what the necessary protection levels are. Differing legislation dictated widely varying solutions in facility design and operation for plant-, insect-, and crop protection -research, whereby the insects or pollen had to be kept either in or out, with positive or negative pressure, wire gauze, HEPA filters, locks, water locks, waste incineration, glass hail protection versus UV transmission, etc.
